“Photography is the only “language” understood in all parts of the world, and bridging all nations and cultures, it links the family of man.” – Helmut Gernsheim
This is one of the reasons I love photography. One does not have to learn how to read or write to understand a photo. All you have to do is simply look. Even a baby can be excited about a photo.
I loved the monthly project that sisters Alisia, Mandy Lynne and Charla Anne did last year. So, this year, I have partnered up with Breeze Floyd, a photographer in North Stonington, Connecticut and Gina Maxine Oh of Arroyo Grande, California to embark on a new photographic journey. This new project will involve one triptych on the last day of each month. A triptych is a work of art divided into three sections. Breeze will take the left, Gina will be on the far right and I will be in the middle. We will take a theme, interpret it and post it as a triptych. To extrapolate on our theme of three, our title will be the theme itself and it will be in English, Spanish and Korean.
Without further ado, here is our first triptych.
