It seems as it was yesterday that I was trying to shoot that first self portrait in my alley while neighbors were passing by and I was running back and forth to the camera to check each image and re-set the timer.

As I said last week, this project has been such an incredible experience that will always have a special place in my heart. I feel that I’ve grown so much and “met” many amazingly creative & talented photographers that inspire me and put a smile on my face every single Friday.

In 2012 I will be doing a similar project with 11 other photographers. However it will only be a 26 week project and will have some different “rules”. I’m super excited about it so make sure to stop by next Friday to check it out!

This week our theme is Resolution. Last week’s was Candy.

I have a few resolutions for 2012 but there’s one that’s on the very top of my list.
Spending more quality time with my family and enjoying the ordinary and extraordinary moments we have together.
This year has been quite busy and at times I wasn’t able to stop and enjoy as much as I wish I would have and I don’t want to miss out on what I love the most in my life. I’m so thankful for having them and I know that finding a good balance between family and work is not easy but I’m determined to make it happen.

This picture was taken by my best friend on a beautiful afternoon in my favorite place in the entire world. It was a perfect day.

Thank you all so much for all the love and support throughout this wonderful year! I wish you all a happy 2012 and that all of your wishes and resolutions come true!

I would lie if I’d say that I’m not getting emotional about it because this has been such an amazing experience. I am so proud of the amazing group of girls that I’ve got to know and get inspired from throughout the year and I know I will treasure this project for ever! It will always have a special place in my heart.

This week our theme is Candy. Last week’s was This is the Season.

I knew from the first time I saw that Candy was one of our themes that I wanted to use a colorful lollipop. But not any random one, the one that I used to eat when I was a little girl and luckily they still make it.

Olivia didn’t love it as much as I do, she said it tasted like beer. Not sure how she knows how beer tastes but at least I got to finish it up.

I took the girls to our neighborhood Candy Cane Lane to look at the lights and thought it would be perfect to take a picture of them there to use for this theme.

And also, this is the very first time ever I’ve done & printed our holiday cards. That doesn’t mean that I’ve sent them or will send them since time is something I’ve been lacking of lately, but at least I’m posting it here.
